PDF output of a record from a list: error 500

Thanks troester, but why one list can be printed to PDF, not the others?
What should I check so that the default template works in all cases?

Is this on a new J!4/F4 installation or some upgraded F3 site?

Check:
In all list settings/Layout: which template is selected as Frontend template and PDF template (Admin template should not matter)
In all menu settings: which template is selected as "Template".

If it's an upgrade there may be a "Default" template which is not the same as "- Use Default -".

I assume you don't have custom PDF links containing a &layout=something (which would try to call the template "something").

It's a site J3 migrated to J4.
All are set to "use default"
I have only this (selle attached image, please)

Your screenshot is about details templates, not list templates.
So what are you doing when you get the error?
A PDF of a list?

Or a PDF of a form or detais view?
In this case you must check the "Form layout" in the menu setting and your form's "Layout" settings.

Thanks troester!

There are PDF of details from lists: a family details record can be printed to PDF, not individual records from other lists. The problem was in the form settings, wit bootstrap selected, non default!

So you could solve it?

What was/is exactly the non-working setting?
Form template=?
Details tempate=?
PDF template=?

On some forms, form and details template were set to bootstrap or bootstrap_tab
Setting to default solved the error.

We are in need of some funding.
More details.

Thank you.
