placeholder in image element link

Hi.

I cannot get the placeholder to work properly on my image element link. I set the link to http://mysite/folder/{full-element-name}. When I click on the image on the frontend, it points to http://mysite/folder/{full-element-name} which directs to my homepage instead of the image. It uses html encoding for the curly brackets.

Is this something that can be fixed in my joomla settings? Or it's got something to do with the server/hosting setup?

We don't do placeholder replacement on the link.

Doesn't work with repeats? On frontend, link converts to http://mysite/folder/group1.jpg,group2.img,group3.jpg

Nope, probably won't work with repeats, unless I did some more work on the code.

but on save there is an error
JFolder: :files: Il percorso non ? una cartella. Percorso: /web/htdocs/www.xxxxxxx.it/home/images/bdv/{rowid}/
