retrieve data from elements to save

Good friends!

My question now is this!
I do not want to use fabrik to save DIRECTLY into tables, I need to press the button to save, retrieve data from each item and generate a SQL query.

Any help?

That's not really how Fabrik works. You could use a form submission plugin, to run your own code during the submission process, either before or after we write out our data, but you can't really bypass Fabrik's table handling. We do allow you to create tableless forms, but we are steaduly phasing out support for those, so I can't guarantee they'll work for much longer.

On option is to just allow us to do what we do with our table(s), and you do whatever it is you want to do in some other table(s) using the PHP form submission plugin.
