Strange error message on prefilter

Hello, I get following error message:

A prefilter has been set up on an unpublished element, and will not be applied:`jos_wowpets_subfamilies`.`available`

The "available" field is published, it's just not on the list view.

Field type: yes/no element
Prefilter in menu link: "available" equals 1 (text, public)

Although the message says, that the prefilter will not be applied, it works fine.

I can't replicate (Fabrik3.1rc2 + GitHub on Joomla3.2).
Even with "show in list"=no and "include in list query"=no;
the error message is only displayed if the element is unpublished.

What are your Fabrik and Joomla versions?

do you have the joomla menu item designating which elements to show in the list?
