Timeline visualization not working due to expired certificate on api-simile-widgets

Hi there,

Since a few days my Timeline Visualization on https://louisleroy.nl/tijdlijn-van-publicaties is not working anymore due to an expired certificate on the timeline-api.js website of Simile-Widgets:

https://api.simile-widgets.org/timeline/2.3.1/timeline-api.js

Is there a work-around (copy the script to my own server? )

You could maybe report the issue via their Issue/bug tracker on http://simile.mit.edu/timeline or directly at https://code.google.com/archive/p/simile-widgets/issues.
Indeed, if urgent, you could perhaps also download the code from there, copy it to your server and load it there locally.

Yes, correct. Unfortunately I can not see where to report an issue on https://code.google.com/archive/p/simile-widgets/issues. The latest report is from 2015, so I guess it is out of date? The script is from 2009 (but still works nice!)

Well, nothing more that could be done from here, either.
Try the "download and loading it locally" option.
