I'd like to have an element grab the name of the user when a record is created. Then, the record keeps that data - forever. This will be to show WHO made the record.
Sounds easy enough, but I can't get the data to stick.
I created an element which uses the plug-in "user" and set it to 'Update on Edit - NO'. Which means when a record is created, it *should* capture the user name and never change it.
However, when I create a record to test as one user (User A) and it populates that field with User "A".... then log out and log back in with with User "B" - and now that element shows the name of User "B".
Huh? Help. Thanks.
BTW: Both user accounts in this example are 'registered' - neither are my SuperUser account.
