{where_i_came_from} via an article (content form) button

Hello All.
I have a Joomla Article that's displaying the correct record details via a content plugin (actually a Fabrik form and list that are nicely separated within the article via Nonumber sliders; per the following).

{fabrik view=form id=23 rowid=[rowid]}
{slider Division of Work|icon} 
{fabrik view=list id=24 bw_division_of_work___fid=[rowid]}

What I would like to do to finish this off is to add a close button at the end of this article that would return the user to the previous page; which the user had originally opened this article from. Would the {where_i_came_from} placeholder work via a button at the end of the article? If so; then could I trouble someone for the proper syntax to do so?

You don't need Fabrik to add a "Back" button
