Allow users to view all, but only edit their own list entries?

I tried the example in the wiki for pre-filtering...

WHERE name(raw) EQUALS {$my->id}, Type: Text, Apply To: Registered
OR
WHERE id NOT EQUAL TO 0, Type: Text, Apply To: Special

This is great but it hides all entries for registered users. I need all my users to be able to view the content of my list, but only allow registered users to edit/delete their own entries.

List "Access" controls (in the left hand menu on the list settings). "Or use field" under "Edit".
