[bug] databasejoin filter and front-end-select don't work together.

I have a bug report and a feature request with databasejoin elements using front-end-select when a sql filter is applied.

Bug report: when adding a new entry using 'Add option in front end', the new entry doesn't show in the list of available options, even if it passes the constrains of the sql filter. It only shows up once the form is reloaded. Because of this, the new entry is not automatically selected (as it should be).

Feature request: the filter is not applied to the front-end-select popup list, which would be really nice.

I can't replicate the bug, it's working on my site.
Can you see any JS error?

There are several gory reasons why the WHERE filter is not applied in that context, and that should be "documented" in the tolltip for that option (to the extent that it tells you that won't happen).

This is one of those things we're aware of, but "fixing" it is not going to be trivial.

As per Troester, "it works for me". I do a front end add, it gets added to the selection. But I'm using simple 'dropdown'. Are you using dropdown, or checkbox / multiselect?
