csv import issue

I have joomla 3.4.8, latest fabrik 3.4.3

when I import the csv , the headers are imported correctly , but it skips the 1st column of data so the date and the headers don't match any more .

also if I try to import without primary key I get an error msg

on my older setup of fabrik 3.3.4 I do not have this issue.

any idea

thanks
Manuel

I've asked Rob to take a look, as he was working on that code recently. He's on his way back from Vietnam, should be back at work in the next day or two.

hi I just got back from holiday this afternoon> I'll take a look now at the issue

hi could you give me some more info to work on here please:

* Attach a sample of the csv file you are trying to import
* Are you trying to import from the front end or in the administration section
* What csv import options do you have set up ?

hmm perhaps this is in the admin when you want to create a new list via a csv import?

Dear Rob

I found a small problem ,

If I update the csv file and I want to update the list in Fabrik nothing is overwritten ( updated ) .

I had Fabrik create a PK that is not present in the csv, could that be the reason ?

To have a proper import and update, should I keep the PK in the csv ?

Best Regards
Manuel

If you want to override you must have the PK in the CSV, otherwise how would you know which records must be updated?

We are in need of some funding.
More details.

Thank you.
