The date element causes the following error:

Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message 'DateTime::__construct() [<a href='datetime.--construct'>datetime.--construct</a>]: Failed to parse time string (Select a date) at position 0 (S): The timezone could not be found in the database' in /home/devsites/public_html/standardpest/libraries/joomla/utilities/date.php:121 Stack trace: #0 /home/devsites/public_html/standardpest/libraries/joomla/utilities/date.php(121): DateTime->__construct('Select a date', Object(DateTimeZone)) #1 /home/devsites/public_html/standardpest/libraries/joomla/factory.php(552): JDate->__construct('Select a date', Object(DateTimeZone)) #2 /home/devsites/public_html/standardpest/plugins/fabrik_element/date/date.php(918): JFactory::getDate('Select a date', Object(DateTimeZone)) #3 /home/devsites/public_html/standardpest/components/com_fabrik/models/element.php(2106): PlgFabrik_ElementDate->getValue(Array, 0, Array) #4 /home/devsites/public_html/standardpest/components/com_fabrik/models/element.php(1936): PlgFabrik_Element->_getElement(A in /home/devsites/public_html/standardpest/libraries/joomla/utilities/date.php on line 121

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Yes. Anything to do with the date element, you need to post a screenshot of your settings, as even the smallest change in settings can be significant.

Also, you need to be a little more specific about "causes the following error" ... is that when submitting your form, or displaying it, or displaying a list, etc?

Generally, when reporting an error, give us screenshot(s) of relevant settings, and the exact steps to replicate the error.

"Select a date" (in your date default) is no valid date format.
The default must be a date in mySQL format YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM

We are in need of some funding.
More details.

Thank you.
