Details table is too wide for div - all of a sudden

We have a wonderful Fabrik based website that has been workign for a long time. Recently, not sure where, perhaps with the J3.9 upgrade we have an issue. In the details part of a list form the fields are rendering too wide without a horizontal scroll bar.

Any pointers on what to check or where to check?

I am rusty on Fabrik so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Repeat groups with "table" layout are rendered as HTML tables.
So this is looking quite normal to me. What was is looking before?
Maybe your upgrade did overwrite some custom CSS settings?

You may reduce the width of your elements in the element settings.

Honestly, I don't recall what it looked like. But I would have never let that be something we delivered. Can you remind me which setting I change for the width of the elements?

In a dbjoin element's "Layout" you can select a bootstrap class.

If your Joomla template doesn't support the selected class the dbjoin will have the width of its widest option.
So maybe you have added some options with a lot of text...

So I am still looking into this and noticed this in Web Developer tools... I am getting a net::ERR_ABORTED 403 for /components/com_fabrik/views/form/tmpl/bootstrap/template_css.php

Any thought on that?

I had also this problem. If you still dealing with this, please try the solution on this link, suggested by startpoint.

The 403 means your web server is denying access to that URL. You'll need to figure that out in your web server - it's probably the htaccess, but could be some application level firewall.
