Fabrik component dissappeared

We no longer have the fabrik component.
This is probably to do with Godaddy, (they have been a nightmare). For the last two days they have been changing things up because of a cyber attack.
Joomla is fine. The fabrik tables are still in phpMyAdmin.
We need to reinstall the component, but without overwriting our current fabrik tables.
Can you point me in the right direction?

Fabrik tables are only deleted if you de-install the component. There is no danger in re-install it.
However, as with any upgrade, it is best to backup, at least, your database (best is to backup everything with Akeeba Backup).

I'm not entirely sure that's true. I think the Fabrik installer may "drop if exists" when you do an install, rather than an upgrade, i.e. if the component is not "installed" already in J!.

So definitely backup all your #__fabrik tables (like xxx_fabrik_elements, xxx_fabrik_lists, etc).

Your data tables will be OK, but you may well have to import your saved Fabrik tables after installing Fabrik again.
