Following my usual lazy path to get here, I asked Google where you were, the reults were alarming, well...a bit:

Yeah, we've been fighting with Google about that. The site did indeed get compromised with some SEO link spam a few months ago, but it's been fixed for a month.

I've also had issues with removing this message for some clients. I found I had to do Googles process twice to get them to remove that message: remove the code then use Google Webmaster Tools to re-verify the urls, check security and then request another review. Let it sit for 24 hours and then do it again. The second time I verified urls, checked security and requested a review the message was automatically removed from Google search results.
