Form in a modul position can only be submmitted once when cache is on

I had this small form as a modul added within an article. (Joomla 3.6.2, php 5.5 and the newest version of fabrik).

It appeared that after enabling cache the form could only be transmitted once and after that did not react anymore until the cache in the backend expired or was cleared.

Hence, I added the form as a menu item (why did I not do this right from the start?) only to find that the redirect does no longer open a new page...

Which cache, the one under the J! global settings, or the system plugin?

OK, I'll take a look at the cache issue.

Redirecting to a new tab only works on AJAX form submissions, as opening the new tab has to be done in Javascript. And only modules and content plugins submit via AJAX. Regular menu component links submit normally. "One of these days" I may add AJAX submission as an option to the component rendered forms.

Thank you for your response. I have reverted back to the module whithin an article and switched off the cache.
