How to Enable Fabrik Visualizations

Hi,

I have install the Google Maps visualization successfully via a zip file uploaded through joomla extension manager.

But I cannot see the others.

Also I have tried to install the new

Fullcalendar plugin via ftp. The files are on the server, but discover cannot see them.



I have gone to

->extensions -> selected plugins

-> fabrik_visualisation

-> click on Discover.

But I cannot discover them..Any hints.

The best way is to do a full github update, then discover. And by "full" I mean as per the wiki. Download the github ZIP, unzip it, and upload everything, overwriting all the Fabrik files on your server.

You will then be able to discover and install any of the plugin.

Of course, it is always best to backup your site before doing any kind of update.

Hi Hugh,

It did not work for me.
I am using joomla 3.4.8 on turnkey linux with joomla pre-install.

1.
I tried it on a hosting account via FULL ftp upload, -> did not work

2.
I tried a local VM with turnnkey linux.

I check the permissions

chmod 755 */*

chown www-data:www-data */*

joomla 3.4.8 did not discover the plugins.

How did other people do this?

Everybody does it exactly as I described.

Are you sure you uploaded the content to the right place? I think the ZIP form github has a top level folder, and the upload content is inside that. You need to upload that directly over your existing files.
