Problem with updating data in the main table/list

i have a structure like this:
Main table
left join to
Repeatable table.

Repeatable table has a dbjoin element connecting to another table3.
when a value in table3 is changing that is not taken by the Repeatable table.
As discussed with Hugh maybe some custom code needed or something fabrik can solve?
anyone has any idea?

I'm still looking at the code for this, trying to work out a way we could automate updating of the unrelated uses of that join.

It's a tough issue, and is very much a corner case, because of the way you have designed your database structure.

I haven't forgotten about you, this is just a very tough issue, and one I need to think hard about before changing any code.
