QR code not rendering correctly

Hi.

Trying to use the QR code format for a field and it's not rendering correctly Attaching a file containing the sample values. You might want to try on your end. When I scan the codes, it's returning the first few characters as 'uuyd:' instead of 'uuid'. And with the other values, it's returning '6' as (0.

Is there something I need to install to make it work correctly. It's working fine with other values like names, URL, etc. But with this one, it's not. Tried to search the forum for similar problems, but didn't find anything like this.

Confirmed,"uuid" is returning "uuyd"

The good news is that I can replicate this, but the bad news is I have no clue why it's happening. We use this open source code:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/phpqrclass/

... and the problem would appear to be with the encoding in that code. And as the code is extremely opaque, and I have no clue as to how QR encoding works, there's zero chance I can debug it.

The only solution would be to find a different, better, open source QR code generator.

PS ... just to be clear ... it would almost certainly be possible to find a better QR code generator, but it's not something we could do under "Community support". It'd be at least an hour or two's work.

I just had a look at this library:

... and tested a couple of your examples in their live test, they seemed to work.

If you want to take out a paid sub, I'll have a go at replacing what we currently use with this.

... either Standard or Pro. Whatever you think the feature is worth to you. I went ahead and implemented that other QR library, and as of this commit:

.... your codes seem to work. I tested with two of them.

So do a github update, and let me know if it works.
