redirect not working if form is in popup (e.g. ajaxfied link)

Without ajax links redirect is working as expexted: thanks text as system message in jump page.

With ajax links:
without redirect plugin the standard success message is displayed correctly as alert.

Redirect with message only (no jump): nothing (no thanks message, no standard message)
Redirect with message + jump: nothing (no thanks message, no standard message, no redirect)
Redirect with jump URL (no message): nothing (no standard message, no redirect)

In all cases the record is saved and updated in the list correctly, no JS errors.

Still working on it ... gotten sidetracked as the form I chose to test this on had a variety of funky elements on it (like AJAX uploads with carousels) which were themselves causing JS errors during the AJAX submission / list re-populating.

Just now getting to the point where I can actually test the redirect!

Well, I sorta half assed fixed it. We will now redirect, based on the "Content Redirect" setting in the Module / Content Plugin settings. Not ideal, but that's what the JS onSubmit is looking at when the submission is via AJAX.

Haven't managed to work out why no msg yet.
