Show/Hide group based on condition

Hi

I have a group which I want be hidden on form load when the current date is greater than a deadline taken from a fixed date.
Is it possible somehow? I think it could be done via javascript but i don't have a clue.

Yes ... it should be relatively easy. Just spoke to you on Skype, and you don't actually mean "fixed", you need to get the date from an element.

However, it's 5:30am on Sunday morning, my brain just stopped working and I need to sleep. So I'll have to suggest some code on Monday.

Yes, actually it is not a fixed date (my mistake!). It's a date taken from a date element.
